Tool Overview

Seedance 2.5 creates videos from a text prompt and optional image, video, and audio references. It supports durations from 4 to 30 seconds and output at 480P, 720P, or 1080P.

Parameters

Required Parameters

prompt

  • Type: string
  • Description: Text description of the video to generate. Use the referenced media in the order provided by the URL arrays.

Optional Parameters

duration

  • Type: number
  • Default: 5
  • Range: 4–30 seconds

ratio

  • Type: string
  • Default: "16:9"
  • Supported Values: "adaptive", "16:9", "9:16", "1:1", "3:4", "4:3", "21:9"

resolution

  • Type: string
  • Default: "480p"
  • Supported Values: "480p", "720p", "1080p"

image_urls

  • Type: string[]
  • Default: []
  • Limit: Up to 30 public HTTP/HTTPS URLs

video_urls

  • Type: string[]
  • Default: []
  • Limit: Up to 10 public HTTP/HTTPS URLs

audio_urls

  • Type: string[]
  • Default: []
  • Limit: Up to 10 public HTTP/HTTPS URLs

Pricing

  • 480P: 170 credits per second
  • 720P: 350 credits per second
  • 1080P: 850 credits per second

The total is duration × resolution rate, rounded up to the nearest credit.

Response

The create endpoint returns a pending task ID. Poll query_tool_task_status until the task completes or fails.
